THE LOST DAYS... Round 1.

It's all darkness.

The feeling of nothingness, of being nothing. Of not existing. You have no thoughts, you will never have any thoughts again. While that fact is not comforting, because you cannot be comforted anymore, it is true.

There's a certain rest to being... nothing. And to both knowing and not knowing, that your time is done.

So it's all the more unfortunate when you feel, because you shouldn't feel. And the feeling is burning in your lungs, which you shouldn't have. Because you are- or were- nothing.

And then, you inhale a desperate gasp of air and open your eyes...

Oh, this is that ongoing drama.

If I had my way, I would've ended the whole thing. My hands of it and moved on.

None of us are comfortable with it, just one of us's got enough attachment. And he gets veto power.

I'm not a fan of the new regime over it. And I'm not the only one.

I meant that we're both sad and questionably alive and prone to doing deeply stupid things out of self-loathing, but sure.

[he's dumb when it comes to personal feelings, but he shrugs.]

I'm trying to tell you to not do the 'I relate to you' bit. I don't care.

You won. I don't particularly like you, and this is gonna be another disappointment like all the other ones I'm slowly, painfully remembering.

[ probably has leaned against a wall by now, just listening to them.

but a much more injured Jason behind him, in... normal clothing. But his freshest injuries seem very-- reminiscent of the injuries that had healed on the Bad Jason. Just freshly bandaged.

and immediately notes the injuries, eyes wide and obviously a little distressed. she pushes herself up, a little too quickly, leaving her rifle on the ground. ]

[he approaches, pulling out some gauze from his leather jacket's pocket. The other Jason's left behind. Or... just gone? hm. point is, he's not a factor now.]

[ this is like a guilt and low self-esteem convention huh ]

[it is something, Jason holds his hands up, placating.]

It's fine. That's what he does. I'm used to it at this point.

[ watches him for a long moment, uneasy, but just takes another couple of steps back, further into the hotel. ]

[ remembering before what she said about doppelgangers— ]

Did we sort things out here...? The flowers are dying back, anyway.

[he looks around, and then shrugs, tossing the gauze to Shrike as he does]

Slowly. Might see a little impact from that topside, but honestly, I'd be surprised if you could tell the difference.

It's the other flower-- the "Aconite." That one's outta control, still.
