THE LOST DAYS... Round 2.
It's all darkness.
The feeling of nothingness, of being nothing. Of not existing. You have no thoughts, you will never have any thoughts again. While that fact is not comforting, because you cannot be comforted anymore, it is true.
There's a certain rest to being... nothing. And to both knowing and not knowing, that your time is done.
So it's all the more unfortunate when you feel, because you shouldn't feel. And the feeling is burning in your lungs, which you shouldn't have. Because you are- or were- nothing.
And then, you inhale a desperate gasp of air and open your eyes...

RULES AND SETUP
If you get a mysterious text, or just know, both are valid.
Make sure your character stat sheet is up to date, and reply with a link to it in this comment.
Then, reference this sheet for the types of rolls that might be asked of you.
If the roll uses a stat that was not on your sheet, don’t worry, I will tell you what to use instead depending on the tenor of the roll. For instance, Manipulate Someone may use Sharp or Tough instead of Charm. And you may want to Manipulate Someone… just saying!
However, my main goal is to have fun. So, per that goal:
1) We will use dice to institute some randomness.
1a) But within reason, I will completely forgo dice if it hurts fun and it's for a one off instance. For instance, if you don't want to be wrecked by the heart... don't do stuff that would reasonably lead to that. I will only allow some getting out of consequences.
2) I will do a hard stop at 5 hours from start.
2a) But once we've had our break from the game, I will continue to backtag. But for my sanity, and for your ability to focus on other hearts, I will be sticking to a 5 hour window of undivided attention.
3) HAVE FUN. I will TRY to make sure I catch TWs as they pop up. If I don't, please ping me before you reply so I can edit the subject. Mea culpa, I'm human.

... START
You open your eyes as panic overtakes you at that thought, that you were nothing. That you had left so much potential behind. That-- it's dark? And you are certainly in a cramped space, aren't you. As you start to move, you feel the vestiges of rigor mortis. It's difficult, even painful to move your limbs. You feel phantom injuries and unhealed wounds.
But it is dark, and so you can't see them. There is plush silk surrounding your body, and as your hands move, you quickly realize where you are.
You are in your own coffin. And the air-- there's only so much of it, isn't there?

GOTHAM
And around you, you can hear people. The sounds of them living-- at least what would be typical of living at night, perhaps on a weekend.
The smells are just as overwhelming. Right now, being in an alleyway, you get the distinct, displeasurable smell of garbage, mold, and probably a few other things. Make sure to avoid any unknown puddles-- it doesn't look like it's rained recently.
The lighting is dim from this vantage point, but on the street, it's brighter. You can head back further into the alleyway, if you would really like, retracing the steps you don't remember taking... Or move forward to the main street and try to get a sense of where you are.

death
It would take everything in you to not panic at the drop of a hat, given any shock what-so-ever. There is nothing in this place that you can anchor to that would make you feel safe.
You can turn around, and head into the darkness. Or you can look ahead and see a pit-- you can’t see the bottom. But there’s a terrifying urge to jump. You can hear the sound of unhinged laughing grow, the longer you stare at that pit.

ARKHAM ASYLUM
But strangely… you see a flower starting to bloom amongst the cracks of this place. It’s a lovely flash of yellow amongst the drab, sterile browns and whites of the hallways.
“Do you want to talk about it?”
As you look on, you can see a room, and the laughing seems to draw… closer? It sets your teeth on edge, the more you hear it.

LAZARUS POOL
She’s tall, with dark skin and hair. Her back is to you, though you don’t get the impression that she’s unaware of you, either. The only way out of here is back the way you came.

IMEEJI
What is surprising is that there seems to be... a purple flower growing along the walls? As you walk down the hall, it's faint at first. And then the flower grows like a vine. A weed, along the walls, its presence strongest once you get to where Jason's room would be. Which, you realize, you feel like you've walked longer than expected? As though the change had dragged out the length of the hallway. But when you look back, you see-- an even more overtaken room. What had been a perfect replica of fin's main dorm is now almost reminiscent of a garden.
Just this same flower, over, and over again.

JASON'S ROOM
There are books pulled out, strewn across the bed, and an Avante jacket tossed carelessly across them.
On the workshop table, there are small projects in progress that anyone could, theoretically, look at.
In the pit, there seem to be more books that could also be looked at.
