Well, if he's polarizing to speed himself up, he can't interfere with Nero summoning a rainstorm of swords, falling around Jason and where his grappling gun's hooked onto the building. With so many targets, it's impossible to tell exactly which one Nero is warping to.

But the one he's aiming for is ahead of Jason. So he can land on the hook's cable mid-swing, and cut the line.]

Clinging tight onto Jason, Nero summons a sword embedded in the ground right below them - and warps down to it.

Even with polarize giving him the added speed, the warp cushions him perfectly. Which can't be said of the fuckboy he's holding onto, who's going to be feeling the full momentum of slamming into cement at top speed.]

[well, y'know, there's no hysmine to cushion that, and you know what? he's just going to recover by reverse polarizing him and Nero, slamming nero away from him, and then rolling back to his feet, unsteady.]

Nero realizes what's happening a split second too late - his fist hits him square in the jaw. There's no follow-through to make it a real haymaker, but it still hurts all the same - ESPECIALLY IN HIS HEART, FROM BEING BETRAYED BY HIS OWN LIMB.

[Nero tries to block the punch with the hand already very glued to his face, but mostly just manages to turn his nose into the trajectory of Jason's fist. There's a hearty crunch, but since polarization was released in that exact instant, he lashes out to grab the arm before Jason can pull it back.]
