[Well, whenever Jay shows up, Griffin will be waiting - leaning against his sweet ride. (It's cooler on the inside than it is on the outside, trust him.)]
I figured. I don’t know what we were gonna do if you were right— I didn’t think that far ahead either.
But if I’m right about my hunch, it’d be pretty useful to have that demon willing to complain about things to us. Like, say, other places she can connect to. Or things that are happening that annoy her— not just the stuff we’re directly involved in.
Fight if I have to— but I figured I could spare myself the trouble and just not tell Bad End, the unit famous for making shitty decisions, and being rebellious against literally anyone we can be, that someone would like us to stop trashing two places in particular.

Re: Day 170
[well. He probably should get a vehicle— like a motorcycle or something. Now that he knows he knows how to drive one.
But he heads closer to the center, waiting for that moment the phone clicks off.]
Alright, let’s talk.
Re: Day 170
[Okay deep breaths. Stay calm. No one needs you to turn into a dog again.]
So you made a deal with the Game Tower. S'there a plan here, or...?
Re: Day 170
Nice job there, thanks Jay, for saving both of our asses.
No problem, Griffin.
Re: Day 170
You did manage t'not get us killed, so - kudos.
Re: Day 170
[awkward one arm shrug— he’s clearly feeling that fall this morning.]
If you were feeling anything positive at all, I would have done something different. Sorry.
Re: Day 170
I only turn when I'm so pissed that I can't think straight anymore. That was me even before all this Hell bullshit. When I saw Nemesis...
[His jaw tightens - the rest should be pretty self evident.]
Re: Day 170
[he exhales.]

Re: Day 170
Seemed t'me like she'd be the type to bitch about anything goin' wrong, no matter how much easier things have gotten for her.
Re: Day 170
Besides, it’s not like she asked for anything I can’t do, or anything that would actively give us a hard time.
There’s plenty in this city for my team to destroy, if they’re hard up for cash.
Re: Day 170
Re: Day 170
Yeah and put out a tempting target.
That’ll go over real well.

Re: Day 170
Fighting your own unit's not gonna make you very popular with the people you gotta-- y'know, live with every day.
Re: Day 170
Guess that’s my perspective after living with them for a bit. If they don’t know, they’re not gonna go out of their way to target something.
Even yesterday— I doubt Malik cares about stopping people from seeing to help, but he does like pissing people off.
Just trust me, we’ll fight less and I’ll have less to do if they don’t know.
Re: Day 170
You really think it'll be worth it? It didn't seem like she had a lotta say over what actually happens t'us.
Re: Day 170
Besides that, she’s not exactly an enemy if what I think is right.
Re: Day 170
Wait, really?
Re: Day 170
But she was dropping enough hints. Pretty sure she's the Hotel too-- why else would she care about those two spots in particular?
And she dumped us back there, not outside of the Game Tower.
What's the one thing people've been saying the whole fucking time we've been here?
That the Hotel's the only blind spot in this whole city.
Re: Day 170
So the dorm's blocked from the viewers... but not from her?
Re: Day 170
I always wondered why they left that blind spot. Maybe they didn't have a choice.
Re: Day 170
Re: Day 170
I dunno-- I'm wary enough about what she can and can't see, I don't want to discuss that part there.
And I'd rather you keep your mouth shut too.
Re: Day 170
I get that I'm not the sharpest about these kinda things, but - I still wanna do something.
