THE LOST DAYS... Round 2.
It's all darkness.
The feeling of nothingness, of being nothing. Of not existing. You have no thoughts, you will never have any thoughts again. While that fact is not comforting, because you cannot be comforted anymore, it is true.
There's a certain rest to being... nothing. And to both knowing and not knowing, that your time is done.
So it's all the more unfortunate when you feel, because you shouldn't feel. And the feeling is burning in your lungs, which you shouldn't have. Because you are- or were- nothing.
And then, you inhale a desperate gasp of air and open your eyes...

Re: JASON'S ROOM
I think we may have just missed each other, and I'm sure there's reasons why you haven't been back—hopefully one of them is being happy where you are. But there's no reason to be a total stranger, you know—at least to me. - Hope, of Pack BAD END=DEAD END
and leaves it on the desk. she wants to know what the ??sound device?? does, though. ]
Re: JASON'S ROOM
And comes with its own nice little memory, this time with FiN.
Jason and a girl with pigtails, talking on the balcony about how to get stronger and how she wants to defend herself in the future. Jason feels a little numb on the inside, and he's smoking up a storm.
But he's encouraging her to do it.
Re: JASON'S ROOM
People really come and go a lot, don't they.
...sometimes good with kids, isn't he.
[ and she's going to go sit down in the pit to look at his books. is it possible she's just going to spend the rest of the time reading his books? maybe ]
Re: JASON'S ROOM
There's, "The Flower Game."
And "The Marketing Game."
And, "Somehow, we made an evil princess?"
"The day FiN discovered capitalism."
Re: JASON'S ROOM
people keep bringing that up. ]
Re: JASON'S ROOM
Ending with a selfie taken of both of them, with Scythe wearing the flower crown.
They both are wearing BAD END attire, so, another for the bad end memories?
You get a warm feeling from this, of trying to protect the kids you've put yourself in charge of.
Re: JASON'S ROOM
All the time good with kids, it seems. That's really cute, actually. Good taste in headwear.
[ she's going to pick up the "marketing" one, next. ]
Re: JASON'S ROOM
The recount here is straightforward. Including the end, where three of BAD END went up to try and pay it forward for AlcheME, and ended up costing them the game, and nearly getting wiped.
Jason's voice and annoyance comes across clear here, as does his conflict with the oldest members of BAD END, particularly Joker and Thorn.
Re: JASON'S ROOM
I begin to see why there was a rift... headstrong personalities will do that, I suppose.
I'll try when I'm there, at least.
[ ...the evil princess she knows about, unfortunately, but what in god's name is "the day FiN discovered capitalism" ]
Re: JASON'S ROOM
Sheep... that she may vaguely recall seeing in the common room.
It finishes with a raw total of the points that Angel and Sho walked away from the auction with. A lot.
Re: JASON'S ROOM
capitalism is hilarious actually when all the money is fake
well, she's going to pull herself up out of the circular pit and go see what the books are on the bed. ]
Re: JASON'S ROOM
There's "Pride and Prejudice (and Zombies)," "Jane Eyre." "Frankenstein's Monster."
There's also an Avante jacket left carelessly at the foot of the bed.
Re: JASON'S ROOM
...ish.
[ she's going to flop down on the edge of the bed to scoop them up to flip through them. ]
Re: JASON'S ROOM
Re: JASON'S ROOM
Re: JASON'S ROOM
it fades out before the end, but... guess this sad bird in snow chick is important, or dear.
somehow.]
Re: JASON'S ROOM
a close friend...? although "friendship" seems like an odd word for this conversation—must be someone she hasn't met, though. though something kind of nags, like she should vaguely know where this person fits into the circle of people she knows. marrying vergil's son?
...maybe she'll figure it out later. surely she'll meet her eventually.
she's going to flip through "pride and prejudice and zombies" next. ]
Re: JASON'S ROOM
But explains where the book came from.
Re: JASON'S ROOM
[ somehow, that's—well, the boyfriend's a good boy, but it makes her wonder if she should stop prying, at least.
well, a little, anyway. ]
Aria was right that if you've been assigned to BAD END you're sort of like this, weren't they.
Who's "Frankenstein's Monster," though?
[ listen
hubris is her top flaw but curiosity is her second one. so she's going to flip through that one too.
besides, shelley is good taste. ]
Re: JASON'S ROOM
"I don't belong there anymore."]
Re: JASON'S ROOM
...well, if that's how it goes, that's how it goes, I suppose.
[ she... sets that book aside, off the bed—moving it over to the sitting area with the other books. ]
Perhaps it's time I move on, on that note. Ah, where to, though...
[ are the flowers still behaving in the hallway ]
