He doesn't even try to save anyone in this memory. - In fact, he's pretty sure this is him "not holding back" like he was in memory 1. - But holy shit, this still makes his blood boil. He absolutely can't stand the thought of kids being fucked with. - And he doesn't care if someone taught him important stuff, he has zero hesitation on turning it against them. - And playing dirty to do it. - He doesn't care about the mask, but he sees that red has always been a theme for him. And so they watch movies together. - Or, well, Bruce does. Jason just conks out against him.
JASON'S IMMEDIATE FEELINGS FROM THIS: - None. Because this stupid idiot gave up this memory and never got it back. - He'll absorb it, and then all of the positive feelings will immediately vanish, once it's concluded. He won't remember what he just watched. It's gone.

After a quick check, he throws it over the bridge, where it explodes harmlessly.
Immediate feelings Jason gets from this: - Add this to the "Maybe I wasn't such a bad guy?" memory pile. - He knows that part of what makes him real mad is that this is a frame job on a bunch of high schoolers. - Fuck the Russian mob, seriously. - But also it's a little exhilarating. Immediate feelings Jay gets from this: - Trust. fucking. no one. - Seriously, if they're overly hospitable you should be on guard. - He was already on guard. - But also he can't survive a sledgehammer to the face can he? He has to be dead? - But he knows he isn't, because he has memories from after this so he's very, very confused. - ... time to start trying to figure out what exactly he can survive.
SUMMARY: - Jason and Dick are doing a stakeout and Jason asks Dick about his new girl. - They bond over Dick talking about her temper - Jason tells Dick that angry people are always looking for someone to direct their rage
Immediate feelings Jason gets from this: - First memory of Dick (just "Grayson") - This is a positive family memory. He didn't have any of this? - This is also kind of the first time he's felt like he has a family in his memories. - He liked Grayson, too. - He's well aware of his rage issues.
THIS IS LONG AND NOT ALL OF IT EVEN REMOTELY INVOLVES JASON, so the summary is: - Jason is disguised and sneaking into a cult - He is trying to track batman. He sees them with him captured. - Hears they plan to kill him, so he tails along silently. - When Batman breaks free, they shoot him, and then claim the current of the sewers took him - So Jason jumps in after him - When he finally finds him, he sees him losing his shit about being damned on top of a pile of corpses

That didn't get eaten immediately. - This is going to be a fucking *trip* to him, because it's going to be the clearest his head has ever felt. - And it's his first real memory of Batman/Bruce. - It's also the least angry he's ever felt? - Actually all of his emotions feel in proportion to the situation, because this is fucked up. - No, seriously, he's going to be completely stunned. - he cares less about the content of the memory, because he's young so it probably worked out, what the fuck is wrong with his mind

QUICK SUMMARY: - It's Jason talking through how and why he put down his teacher with Talia. - Finishes with her telling him "You are learning." - And he agrees with her.
IMMEDIATE FEELINGS JASON GETS FROM THIS: - Implicit and complete trust in Talia - A more complete sense of why he did what he did in his third memory - A strong sense of black and white justice. Some people deserve to be put down.
Summary: - Completing off this memory. It shows the family going crazy off of Joker's laughing gas. - The kids are basically begging each other to stop fighting but they all know they can't. - Bruce finally triggers the anti-venom in the knick of time. - Jason decides to go out drinking, rather than deal with that again.
Immediate feelings Jason gets from this: - Well he's not surprised, at least. - It is extremely depressing, though. He'll want to drink after this memory. - He's so, extremely fucking over the Joker. - And even more frustrated after the heart game.
Summary: - WE ARE GOING DEEP INTO BATMAN HISTORY. THIS IS JASON'S ORIGIN STORY COMIC. - He learns SO MUCH about his background here! - And also that his first time running into Batman was, you know. Stealing his tires. - Aw, he was so precocious. - Anyway, it ends with Batman giving him to Faye Gunn since he figures she'll put Jason on the straight and narrow. - Ha Ha Ha oops.
Immediate feelings Jason gets from this: - ... Actually, this is a super helpful memory, after the last one. - His memories of being a kid are a breath of fresh air, actually. He's, what, 12? 13? Talon's age? - This is nice. - Big boob, classic kid insult. - He WAS normal, once. A long time ago.

here to page 15, excluding the stuff that doesn't involve him and Alfred. SHRUG.
Summary: - Immediately post Damian's death, Alfred and Jason are talking about how he won't "like this." - "This" is hanging up Damian's uniform in the batcave. Alfred says he didn't like it when he hung up Jason's uniform. - Jason justifies why this is worse, because he was just another robin. - Alfred says that is not true. - Then they both get attacked, but Jason's out first. - And when he comes to, he tells Batman he's sorry, he failed. - Batman just tells him don't worry about it, the league will help him find out who attacked them.
Immediate feelings Jason gets from this: - Ah, that's who Alfred is. - ... - ... - ... Yeah, he would probably die for Alfred. Immediately. - The rest is so thoroughly unsurprising to him.
Summary: - Jason calls all the heads of the Gotham drug trade and offers them a generous deal. - He basically manhandles the shit out of them and tells them he's not asking them to join him, he's telling them. - His one rule is to stay away from kids and school yards. - He tosses the heads of their lieutenants onto the table below when they ask why they should do it. - "These are the heads of all of your lieutenants. This took me two hours. Imagine what I could do with a whole night."
Immediate feelings Jason gets from this: - He's very angry. - And this is part of a grander scheme. An important part, but there are other things he's worried about here. - But he knows one thing: he feels absolute disgust at those people. But he knows that if he kills them, someone else will take their place. - So he's gonna own this.
This is Jason's death memory. IT SHOULD BE STRAIGHTFORWARD, but, uh. The fucking scene was redone in N52 lore. So, no real comics. Way more intentional on the Joker's part. So, I'll hit the bullet points of what he's getting:
- In this version, the woman he finds IS Cathy Todd. He's not gonna know her as that, but somewhere along the line, she became his real mother and not his adopted mother. (hence why i'm not just linking to "Death in the Family" or the N52 version that just... glosses over everything) - He thought she was dead, but he got lead on a goose chase to find she was alive. - This was a trap that the Joker used to separate him and Batman. - Then, the Joker tied him up and savagely beat him with a crowbar, while his mom watched and did nothing to help. - Then the Joker set a bomb and tied his mother up to kill them both. - Jason ended up mangling his hands to get out of the bindings, and then freed his mom. - But they both discovered that the doors were locked, and Jason was way, way too brutalized to disarm the bomb. - He probably would have died anyway, from the blood filling up his lungs. - So, the bomb exploded, but long enough for him to have to sit with the fact that he was going to die.
Immediate feelings Jason gets from this: - There's a certain smug "you can't hurt me as long as I don't let it seem like you're hurting me" in this memory that... is extremely familiar to him, even now. - Panic and terror, and just an acute awareness of pain. - And a certain finality. While Jason knows he somehow revives, he knows that for him in this moment? That was not a given. He was going to die, and that would be all she wrote.
This is also just going to lead to a complete overload of BSOD for Jason. It also, also unlocks his night terrors fully. So, he's not going to be dealing well with this, even if he puts up a front about it. This one was unlocked on day 234.
SUMMARY: - This memory is gonna automatically purchase as two, much to Jason's annoyance. - Anyway, this is a good memory between him and Bruce, following up on him as a kid trying to fix Bruce's father's watch. - It's his birthday gift to Bruce. But he has to take it back because he hasn't quite finished fixing it. - He finishes the favor much, much later. Post death. - He leaves the watch for Bruce to find, rather than give it to him in person.
IMMEDIATE FEELINGS JASON GETS FROM THIS: - He genuinely loved Bruce. - Also, genuinely loved trying really hard to fix that watch, even as a kid. - Ambient fondness for Alfred, who was definitely watching him work on it for "five months." - He wasn't ALWAYS a pain in the ass as a kid... but don't let this ruin his rep.

MEMORY 18
Summary:
- Completing off this memory. It shows the family going crazy off of Joker's laughing gas.
- The kids are basically begging each other to stop fighting but they all know they can't.
- Bruce finally triggers the anti-venom in the knick of time.
- Jason decides to go out drinking, rather than deal with that again.
Immediate feelings Jason gets from this:
- Well he's not surprised, at least.
- It is extremely depressing, though. He'll want to drink after this memory.
- He's so, extremely fucking over the Joker.
- And even more frustrated after the heart game.
MEMORY 19
Summary:
- WE ARE GOING DEEP INTO BATMAN HISTORY.
Immediate feelings Jason gets from this:
- ... Actually, this is a super helpful memory, after the last one.
- His memories of being a kid are a breath of fresh air, actually. He's, what, 12? 13? Talon's age?
- This is nice.
- Big boob, classic kid insult.
- He WAS normal, once. A long time ago.
MEMORY 20
Summary:
- Jason meets Dick!
- Jason is Dick's replacement, and Dick is super Not Happy about that.
- They scuffle.
- Jason talks so much shit.
- Dick thinks he has Jason trapped, but Jason manages to get away at the last second.
- Then he's radio-ing Batman because he's confused, but Batman tells him and Dick, Nightwing, to go find Alfred.
- Dick then firmly takes over leading.
Immediate feelings Jason gets from this:
- Yep, he was definitely a handful as a child.
- Now knows Dick's name, and not just Grayson.
- Hasn't OFFICIALLY remembered Alfred, but he's there too.
- Honestly, this whole memory is just kind of funny to him, even if it takes a serious turn at the end.
MEMORY 21
Summary:
- Immediately post Damian's death, Alfred and Jason are talking about how he won't "like this."
- "This" is hanging up Damian's uniform in the batcave.
Immediate feelings Jason gets from this:
- Ah, that's who Alfred is.
- ...
- ...
- ... Yeah, he would probably die for Alfred. Immediately.
- The rest is so thoroughly unsurprising to him.
MEMORY 22
Summary:
- Jason calls all the heads of the Gotham drug trade and offers them a generous deal.
Immediate feelings Jason gets from this:
- He's very angry.
- And this is part of a grander scheme. An important part, but there are other things he's worried about here.
- But he knows one thing: he feels absolute disgust at those people. But he knows that if he kills them, someone else will take their place.
- So he's gonna own this.
MEMORY 23
- In this version, the woman he finds IS Cathy Todd. He's not gonna know her as that, but somewhere along the line, she became his real mother and not his adopted mother. (hence why i'm not just linking to "Death in the Family" or the N52 version that just... glosses over everything)
- He thought she was dead, but he got lead on a goose chase to find she was alive.
Immediate feelings Jason gets from this:
- There's a certain smug "you can't hurt me as long as I don't let it seem like you're hurting me" in this memory that... is extremely familiar to him, even now.
MEMORY 24&25
SUMMARY:
- This memory is gonna automatically purchase as two, much to Jason's annoyance.
IMMEDIATE FEELINGS JASON GETS FROM THIS:
- He genuinely loved Bruce.
- Also, genuinely loved trying really hard to fix that watch, even as a kid.
- Ambient fondness for Alfred, who was definitely watching him work on it for "five months."
- He wasn't ALWAYS a pain in the ass as a kid... but don't let this ruin his rep.
