[Griffin grunts with pain from the double impact of Jay's full weight on him, and being slammed to the floor - fuck you for being tall? Really, fuck you.

But he doesn't let go of the headlock. If anything, now that he's underneath Jay, he tightens, shrinking out of reach of any effective elbows or punches. His legs wrap around Jay's, keeping him from standing - a complete body lockdown.]

there's a part of him that wants to go harder, but then the other part is just thinking "eh, is it really worth it to destroy myself on a roof for this?"

[Hah, finally-- he lets go, still breathing heavily. Jay can get up, but Griffin's gonna stay here for a second more, reveling in the lingering pain and adrenaline.]

[he's going to stand, and shrug his shoulders, rotating his neck a little bit.]

[Wait. Before Jay fully gets to his feet, Griffin grabs him by the collar.]

He catches his hand on the floor before he falls back, and then turns to face him.]

[Griffin bares his teeth in a hungry smile. He pushes off the ground as he pulls down Jay at the same time, using that leverage to heft himself on top and kiss him, eager and raw and made bold by victory.]

Griffin bites down on Jay's lip - a nip of punishment for grabbing him, he's not submitting today - before shoving him hard, back down onto the ground. He purrs, letting a hand slip under Jay's shirt to feel him up.]

[he's teasing as he steps towards the edge, and then hops off, pulling out his grappling hook to latch onto one of the edges at the last moment, before swinging easily into BEDE.

[Griffin chuckles,]

[And lazily, tips backwards-- letting gravity take him.

When Jay swings in, he follows suit - letting his feet glide across the edge of the building, skidding, slowing into a dramatic crouch. Then, popping inside like he belonged there.]

[now they just need to get back to his room again, since he's got his own newbie to contend with. and no need to make him awkward.

but he pushes open his door, and heads inside of his room, taking the chance to toss his jacket aside, saving that step, at least.]

[Griffin strolls in with purpose, and-- rather than letting the door close on its own, he shoves it with the back of his boot. He grabs Jay by the shoulder and spins him around, stops - looks him up and down with a smirk of admiration - then kisses him.]

[are you trying to sweep him off his feet, griffin, is that what's happening. there's a laugh of half disbelief over that ridiculous show of affection.

but he kisses back, greedy, and his hands go to his lapels, and starts to shove his jacket off of his shoulders.

[Oh, this is definitely happening. Griffin matches him for hunger as he shrugs off the coat, but breaks to pull the ragged shirt over Jay's head.

The claw mark down Jay's chest had healed, and its scar blended in among the canvas of scars all over his body. If you weren't looking for it, it'd disappear against his skin. But Griffin knew it was there. He traces the lines with his hand, slowly, savouring the knowledge. Purring,]

[he can tell immediately which scar griffin's going for-- and still thinks it's slightly unfair that every mark he gave him disappeared with the healing. but at the same time, he really likes this? even if it's in his nature to challenge anyone who tells him they're gonna teach him something.

[he breaks from him just to pull his shirt over his chest, and to toss it onto the floor. as he does this, he kicks off his boots, easily]

[The fingers tracing his scar suddenly turn into a hand, pressed against him and-- shoving hard, against the wall.

Griffin leans in, breath hot against Jay's skin and teeth bared.]

I won. That means you're submitting to me now.

[As he forcefully kisses Jay again, he takes the grappling hook from his hips with his other hand.]

[he allows it— in part because he was caught off guard. In part because he kind of likes it, even as his hackles raise at the blunt phrasing. Because this is new for him. And new is— well, he doesn’t know yet.

He mutters against his mouth,]

[but it’s a brief mutter because he’s kissing back, his fingers sliding down and looping into Griffin’s pants belt holes, pulling him closer]

[Mm, when Jay tugs him in - such a touch of insolence, the fire in his blood flares out in reprimand - he firmly grabs Jay's jaw. Allowing the kiss, but a reminder of who was talking control.

Voice low, he growls against Jay's lips.]

So, what’s that mean?

[he does notice the reprimands, and he tilts his head back just slightly. Still slightly defiant, but not pushing against him entirely.]

[Griffin's grip on his jaw tightens, angling his head so he could admire the curve of his jaw as Jay stands, with that faint rebellious air to him. Still, that's all he does for now - his eyes (still blue, but hot and intense) burn into him.]

[he’s not sure, but also not entirely opposed. But also...

He notices his eyes though. Last time, how they’d turned yellow almost immediately. Idly wonders what that means. But doesn’t linger too hard on it.]
