I don't get memories like that all that often. So what if I wanna brag a little bit? Usually they're pretty terrible, or neutral.

Me and Talon did the calculation the other day.

Talon's got a slightly worse ratio. but he's 5 memories ahead of me.

I can easily make it up.

[He snorts at Jason's cavalier remark, but he quickly becomes contemplative. Considering how distressed Jason had been about his state of mind in these memories...]

...You don't take these memories alone, right? Even if they're private, you-- take'em with Talon or something?

Sometimes. But usually I take 'em alone, yeah.

[he wouldn't seriously put his brother through his memories all the time.]

... Talon has his own shit to go through. I'm the adult. [he can't put that on him-- he's always regretted it when his memories turn south with Talon around.]

I lived through it once, I can live through it again.

The lack of games and that scar bullshit screwed me on having spare points.

[He relaxes again when Jason agrees - every time, he expects him to push back against the idea, so when he doesn't... well, Griffin's relieved, and thankful.

But - he flips his phone in his hand, catching it precariously over the 12 storey drop - he slams his thumb on the Point store. Bets placed...]

...Here goes nothing.

[Well. There's no way he could've survived this memory, right?]

[Summary:
- confronts this mad scientist in his lab
- apparently the Order wants to take over the world by harnessing demons
- then he gets impaled and crucified
- having a demonic arm really doesn't give you regeneration or enhanced durability, and he doesn't have stabheals. this will kill him!!
- the scientist wants to experiment on his arm next. peak super-villainy]

[he’s watching the memory for a moment— but almost immediately turns to start watching Griffin, once he realizes that he’s walked into some sort of a trap.

He doesn’t strictly need to see the memory, not when he can hear it, and can hear bones and blood against steel.]

[...Involuntarily, he brings a hand to his chest, remembering pain of his entire torso being split in half.

But it wasn't the prospect of death that scared him. His brows furrow, and he glances down to the demonic hand he no longer had.]
