[he doesn't move out of the way of the touch, but he does fix his eyes on Nero.[

As much as I'd like to watch that...

[Guess he WILL get up so he can shower and brush this teeth]

[Well, enjoy waiting some more, because Nero is not skimping on how long and hot this shower is. He needs it, and when he does come out, he looks significantly more alive and less foul smelling.]

[Circles round to Jason's side of the bed while toweling down his hair]

I see Naru's sucking up t'you.

[Nero glances at the drawings Jason's looking at]

Oh. Those're kinda old. The newer stuff's in my workshop.

[while he tries to shoo the kitten away now]

[No kittens allowed in the workshop.

Nero gestures with his head for Jason to follow, and leads him to a door that wasn't there before! Inside, the workshop is a sight from out of a medieval blacksmith's forge, but with the soft touch of stained glass and roses growing over the walls.

His newest designs are posted up by the drafting desk.]

Came in the other day. So did a training room.

[so the dorm upgrades are going faster in general. but he looks at the designs, taking an interest in those for now.]

[They seem to be stencil designs for his motorbike. Trying to figure out what would be an appropriately regal look for his Empress.

A lot of roses, for sure. Gold crown and chains, or maybe a sword?? Decisions, decisions.]

[he glances back at him.]

Just givin' her an emblem.

[His own attention is on the roses growing over the walls. He runs his hand over the petals of a blue rose, soft between his fingers.]

Seems like they gave you the right theme for inspiration, then.

[he steps back, and while he looks around, his eyes inevitably get drawn back to Nero, slightly concerned.]

[Nero isn't looking at him - instead, he plucks the blue rose from its vine and brings it to his face to smell.]

I did request'em.

...Y'know, it should be genetically impossible to grow these.

Yeah...?

[And then he moves a little closer to him.]

[Nero smiles to himself, like he's thinking back to a private joke. When Jason draws closer, he tucks the flower into Jason's BAD END jacket pocket.]

That's why I named my gun Blue Rose.

[... there's something in him that kind of wants to laugh.

that nero is giving him a flower.

he glances down at it briefly, and then back him, raising an eyebrow, a lightly fond look on his face.]

You're giving me flowers now.

[Nero straightens out Jason's lapels, still sheepishly smiling.]

Definitely.

[he considers him, and then slowly...]

... Are you gonna be okay if I leave?

[gigadevilbreaker]

I'll be okay.

[A pause. And quietly, sincerely,]
