THE LOST DAYS... Round 1.
It's all darkness.
The feeling of nothingness, of being nothing. Of not existing. You have no thoughts, you will never have any thoughts again. While that fact is not comforting, because you cannot be comforted anymore, it is true.
There's a certain rest to being... nothing. And to both knowing and not knowing, that your time is done.
So it's all the more unfortunate when you feel, because you shouldn't feel. And the feeling is burning in your lungs, which you shouldn't have. Because you are- or were- nothing.
And then, you inhale a desperate gasp of air and open your eyes...

Imeeji
What is surprising is that there seems to be... a purple flower growing along the walls? As you walk down the hall, it's faint at first. And then the flower grows like a vine. A weed, along the walls, its presence strongest once you get to where Jason's room would be. Which, you realize, you feel like you've walked longer than expected? As though the change had dragged out the length of the hallway. But when you look back, you see-- an even more overtaken room. What had been a perfect replica of fin's main dorm is now almost reminiscent of a garden.
Just this same flower, over, and over again.
Re: Imeeji
she's been here......... not that many times, but she recognizes it, anyway. but she follows the vines all the way to the common area, and... frowns at it. ]
Is anyone here?
Re: Imeeji
But they are still. Grayed out. Statuesqe. The flowers are slowly overtaking them.
Re: Imeeji
she's going to try and shake intensity by the shoulder, anyway, to see if she can snap him out of it. ]
Re: Imeeji
The good news is, you still manage to see the flowers starting to encircle you, extending towards your feet.
Re: Imeeji
like, she likes flowers, but these ones seem Problematique. she steps deftly over them, and... is there a place that it seems like they're coming from?
2d6+sharp = 11 because that seemed appropriate ]
Re: Imeeji
It's subtle at first, but there is definitely more there. And as she walks further, she knows she's correct.
But, they become impossible to ignore, and one, without her knowing, latches to her. She becomes gripped with the feeling, of being one with the void. That it is there, and that she doesn't need to move forward. It's so comforting and innate.
Does she even know what she's doing? Why is she doing it?
Based on how Shrike would get out, Roll tough, or roll weird.
Re: Imeeji
Shrike--?

turns, with precise force to tear the vines from her limbs, and shakes it off, frowning. ]
They're coming from this way, I think.
Re: Imeeji
continuing down the hallway once she's free, then, carefully avoiding any vines she can see. ]
Re: Imeeji
But as soon as they land, they curl up and wither away, dead from the lack of fertile soil.
Re: Imeeji
I wonder—
...there was a game, once, where we all had two flowers, and we had to decide which ones to burn, but it would hurt anyone who had them—I think based on the meanings given, Nero and I thought Jason might have gorse and aconite.
Re: Imeeji
but she looks at the flowers, frowning. ]
I've heard of it, but I don't know much about it. And I don't know enough about flowers to know, either.
Re: Imeeji
...I'm going to see if I can figure out where these come from, at least, but it seems like it might be dangerous...
...everything's fading like when—when someone goes grey, in Tokyo-F.
Re: Imeeji
... may as well keep going, then.
Re: Imeeji
Which direction do you choose?
Re: Imeeji
I suppose—there's probably a lot to be angry at, in the game tower. We could also start just... cutting the vines? As a temporary measure?
Re: Imeeji
If you think it would help, cut what you like-- but for an infestation it's always better to cut it off at the source.
