[O-oh. It kind of feels like he's still dreaming, maybe, but. This is so nice. It's so nice that he just wants to stay in this moment, hold it close and cherish it, despite how physically disgusting he felt.

Smiling helplessly, Nero brings a hand to Jason's cheek as well, and leans his forehead against his.]

He runs his thumb over Jason's cheekbone, longingly.]

[If Talon decided he could never forgive him, ultimately, Nero would live with that. But if Jason...]

[he has to catch himself from leaning into that gesture, but he goes still. Considering what Griffin was saying.

Was he still mad? He probably should be. There was a part of him that wanted to yell and scream about what had happened. And then there was another part of him that wanted to pull back from everything, knowing he definitely had full right to.

[To Nero, that translated to I can't forgive you yet. Not until Talon does. Which was what he resigned himself to, to be fair.

He leans in, as though for a kiss, but presses his cheek to Jason's - intimate and warm, without breaking the boundaries set by his mistakes.]

You need to get cleaned up. Looking like shit's normal with a hangover, but you really look it.

[He snorts, but allows himself one last indulgence of brushing Jason's bangs out of his face.]

[Well, enjoy waiting some more, because Nero is not skimping on how long and hot this shower is. He needs it, and when he does come out, he looks significantly more alive and less foul smelling.]

Oh. Those're kinda old. The newer stuff's in my workshop.

Nero gestures with his head for Jason to follow, and leads him to a door that wasn't there before! Inside, the workshop is a sight from out of a medieval blacksmith's forge, but with the soft touch of stained glass and roses growing over the walls.

His newest designs are posted up by the drafting desk.]

Came in the other day. So did a training room.

[so the dorm upgrades are going faster in general. but he looks at the designs, taking an interest in those for now.]

[They seem to be stencil designs for his motorbike. Trying to figure out what would be an appropriately regal look for his Empress.

A lot of roses, for sure. Gold crown and chains, or maybe a sword?? Decisions, decisions.]
