THE LOST DAYS... Round 1.

It's all darkness.

The feeling of nothingness, of being nothing. Of not existing. You have no thoughts, you will never have any thoughts again. While that fact is not comforting, because you cannot be comforted anymore, it is true.

There's a certain rest to being... nothing. And to both knowing and not knowing, that your time is done.

So it's all the more unfortunate when you feel, because you shouldn't feel. And the feeling is burning in your lungs, which you shouldn't have. Because you are- or were- nothing.

And then, you inhale a desperate gasp of air and open your eyes...

[he seems steady enough, just sluggish.]

You mean take care of the rage flowers in my own personal trauma hell?

[clearly steady enough to make a self-berating joke]

[ Rolls his eyes. ]

I prefer the way I said it. Are we really supposed to leave you like this?

I know you prefer the way you said it, but I kinda like the framing there.

[he considers, and makes his way over to red hood, who is still out of it after the joker gas.]

If you wanna tackle some stuff, while he gets his feet under him, I won't say no. I think you managed to knock some of it out, and I need to find those dumb impulses.

[ Nods, taking a steadying breath ]

I don't want to leave anything behind that doesn't belong here.

Better act fast.

[as he pulls Red Hood up.]

He's 'ehn' about having people in here. And I'm not inclined to fight him over it.

I would find it concerning if you were.

[ He's glancing around the different exits, debating over options, and perhaps over whether or not to say something, but he eventually settles one— ]

Is there anywhere that you want helped first?

... Talon. Are you overthinking how to ask for tactical advice?

[He sighs.]

Don't actually go back to the basement. That's a terrible idea. It's a trauma zone for a reason.

Still think the source's Arkham. But who knows, maybe it's spread to other places.

We didn't explore the upper levels, so I'll begin there this time.
