THE LOST DAYS... Round 1.
It's all darkness.
The feeling of nothingness, of being nothing. Of not existing. You have no thoughts, you will never have any thoughts again. While that fact is not comforting, because you cannot be comforted anymore, it is true.
There's a certain rest to being... nothing. And to both knowing and not knowing, that your time is done.
So it's all the more unfortunate when you feel, because you shouldn't feel. And the feeling is burning in your lungs, which you shouldn't have. Because you are- or were- nothing.
And then, you inhale a desperate gasp of air and open your eyes...

Re: The Hotel
[and then he points the gun at cypress, and pulling the trigger.]
Re: The Hotel
Re: The Hotel
[ why is everyone so trigger-happy.
actually she knows that. stupid question
depression be damned she is not letting this happen, she's going to try and just. knock him down and out of the way. ]
Re: The Hotel
but he is also out cold, and bleeding heavily. Though he seems to be rapidly healing? Like his wounds are going... somewhere else.]
Re: The Hotel
Stupid. Idiot, ridiculous, terrible, jackass, of course you say you're a jerk but I thought you were smarter than the kind of thing I'd pull. Coward.
[ it just. continues,
is she mad? she might be mad! ]
Cypress, how are your injuries.
Re: The Hotel
She doesn't answer for a long moment. ]
...
Fine.
Re: The Hotel
But—your response was good. He's stupid. I can try and dress some of those, before he wakes back up.
Re: The Hotel
... it-- reminded me of... something.
I don't know what.
Re: The Hotel
Re: The Hotel
... no. More like-- someone who isn't someone, I guess.
Re: The Hotel
...ah, that sort of thing... is fearsome, yes. So—ah. Really, we have people whose job it is to hunt that sort of thing down at home, so... I see.
I think in this case it's more that... this is a fragment of him?
Re: The Hotel
so, of course, he's going to sit up.
completely fucking healed.]
Re: The Hotel
Re: The Hotel
Huh.
1/2
Re: The Hotel
Pasiap's balls, you absolute moron. I know what you were doing, and you can't pull that kind of shit anymore. A lot of people told it to me, I told it to Sashay, and I'm telling it to you now: you have to find a way to live that you can bear.
Don't put that blood on Cypress's or my hands. Don't do that to Nero or your brother.
Re: The Hotel
I'm not just a death wish, you know.
And besides. I can't die. You kill me and boom. [his hands spread out.] The whole thing comes crashing down. 50-50 on if it takes you with it, but you'll just come back right.
Re: The Hotel
Both of us are going to be stuck with some shadow like you who'll always be there waiting for an opportunity forever, probably. But you've got enough people willing to sit on you when you try.
So learn to take a fucking rest.
Re: The Hotel
And the inmates are running the asylum right now.
[he then rolls back to stand up neatly, out of range of headbutting.]
Re: The Hotel
Cypress is right, you know. You're insufferable when you're like this.
...is this a last-ditch effort because the flowers are going away?
Re: The Hotel
He wasn't very useful this time.
Re: The Hotel
Re: The Hotel
[he steps back, sighing in frustration.]
Re: The Hotel
Could burn down the game tower instead.
Re: The Hotel
Maybe I'll try in real life. I could probably sweet talk Hood into allowing that one.
